Janelle Brown is sharing updates about her planned forever home, which is about to take form in North Carolina!
The "Sister Wives" star appeared on Instagram with a situation report on how far she has come in building herself a befitting home two years after she divorced her ex-husband, Kody Brown.
Janelle Brown and Kody Brown spiritually tied the knot in 1993, and she left a year after Christine Brown announced her split from the family patriarch in November 2021. Meri Brown followed suit last year, leaving him with Robyn Brown as his remaining wife.

The mother-of-six uploaded a video on Instagram of a vacant plot of land with several trees and an unpaved road. John Denver's "Take Me Home, Country Roads" plays in the background.
"Not West Virginia, but my new home," the TV star began. Janelle explained that she is "finally putting down some permanent roots," while it does not look like much now, she promised that things will eventually pick up. She continued:
"I like the wild feel that it has now, and we are planning for many acres to stay that way for the benefit of the wildlife."
The TV star tagged Taeda Farms which she founded with her daughter Madison Bush and son-in-law in September. The company was described as a "flower farm in the works" and considered "halfway homesteading."

In a sneak peek for the 12th episode of the show's 18th season titled "The Elephant in the Room," Janelle reiterated that she would go on the journey with him all over again, noting that she has no regrets about everything that happened.
The author added that their connection might have unfortunately run its course, and it would have ended one way or the other, whether sooner or later,
"I know that I didn't make a mistake in marrying him. I would do it all over again. I didn't think these kinds of things had an expiration date, but it appears that our relationship might have had an expiration date,"she stated.

Janelle has been embracing the new changes in her life since the crushing loss of her son, Garrison, who committed suicide at the age of 25.

Their marriage did not fizzle out without some notable attempts at salvaging things, especially from Kody's quarters. The father-of-eighteen made his big move on her birthday, taking her out to dinner at a luxurious restaurant in Arizona.
Unfortunately for Kody, Janelle did not share the same views, which led to her declining to offer Kody a goodnight kiss when he requested.
Later, in a confessional on their show, the business owner clarified that she had mentally signed out of the relationship, noting that even holding hands with Kody "just didn't feel right anymore."
